My travels through life have taken me from the Southernmost country in Africa to the sultry South Texas Gulf Coast, and in the last two months, to snowy Manitoba, Canada.  I have been fortunate enough to enjoy the diversity of plant, animal and birdlife of Africa to the quite different climate, plants and birds of Texas and my education continues in the ways of WINTER in Canada.

I began my career as a teacher of small children, followed by the teaching of computers to teenagers.  The Internet opened the door to America for me.  I arrived on North American shores in 2000 and continued my walk along the path of life, emerging after additional education, as a cardiac sonographer.

I have always been close to nature, which has kept me company and offered me solace along the way.  As I learn about the Big White Way, I will share my experiences as I move forward.
